Overview
The Leybold DIVAC® 0.8 T is a compact, dry-running diaphragm vacuum pump specifically designed for turbomolecular-pump backing and clean laboratory vacuum applications where eliminating vacuum oil and hydrocarbon contamination is important.
Delivering approximately 0.77 m³/h (0.45 CFM) of pumping speed with an ultimate pressure of 3 mbar, the DIVAC 0.8 T provides reliable dry forevacuum in an exceptionally compact 5.9 kg package. Its diaphragm technology eliminates vacuum oil from the pumped-gas path, helping prevent oil backstreaming and contamination of sensitive high-vacuum systems.
The 0.8 T is particularly well suited to small turbomolecular-pump systems, analytical instruments, mass spectrometry, research vacuum equipment and other laboratory applications requiring clean backing vacuum. Leybold specifically developed the DIVAC T range as dry backing pumps for a wide range of turbomolecular pumps.
Its 1-phase 198–264 V, 50/60 Hz electrical configuration provides excellent installation flexibility, while the 50 W motor, 49 dB(A) operating noise, DN16 ISO-KF inlet and compact footprint make the pump exceptionally easy to integrate into laboratory equipment.
For customers currently using a small oil-sealed rotary-vane pump to back a turbo, the DIVAC 0.8 T provides a cleaner alternative that eliminates vacuum oil from the pumped-gas path while reducing routine oil-maintenance requirements.
When the customer needs a similarly compact pump but requires substantially lower foreline pressure, the DIVAC 0.8 LT should be considered instead.
The DIVAC 0.8 T is the ideal small dry forepump when you want simple, quiet and reliable turbo backing without putting vacuum oil into the high-vacuum system.
