The Leybold DIVAC® 1.2 L is a compact, two-stage, dry diaphragm vacuum pump designed specifically for chemical laboratory applications where clean vacuum and high resistance to solvents and corrosive gases are essential.

Delivering approximately 1.2 m³/h (0.71 CFM) of pumping speed with an ultimate pressure of ≤8 mbar, the DIVAC 1.2 L provides reliable rough vacuum from a compact 9.3 kg package. Its dry diaphragm design eliminates vacuum oil from the pumped-gas path, preventing oil contamination and backstreaming while eliminating routine vacuum-oil changes.

The major advantage of the DIVAC L series is its chemical resistance. Pump components exposed to the pumped medium use chemically resistant materials including PTFE, FFPM and PVDF, making the DIVAC 1.2 L particularly well suited to solvent vapours, corrosive gases and demanding chemical laboratory processes.

The pump operates from a standard 230 V single-phase, 50 Hz supply and consumes only 120 W of rated power. At approximately 50 dB(A), it is also quiet enough for laboratory environments.

Typical applications include chemical laboratories, rotary evaporation, vacuum filtration, vacuum drying, solvent handling, sample preparation, pharmaceutical research, analytical laboratories and other clean-duty applications where conventional oil-sealed pumps can suffer from chemical attack and oil contamination.

For customers who need a compact chemical-duty vacuum pump and do not require the deeper 2 mbar performance of the DIVAC 1.4 HV3C, the DIVAC 1.2 L provides an excellent combination of chemical resistance, clean operation, low power consumption and simple maintenance.
