Overview
The Leybold DIVAC® 1.4 HV3 is a compact, dry-running three-stage diaphragm vacuum pump designed specifically for clean forevacuum and turbomolecular-pump backing applications where low ultimate pressure and oil-free operation are important.
Delivering approximately 1.3 m³/h (0.77 CFM) at 50 Hz and achieving an ultimate pressure of ≤1.5 mbar, the DIVAC 1.4 HV3 provides excellent low-pressure performance from an extremely compact 8.6 kg package. Its three-stage diaphragm design is optimized for strong pumping performance in the lower pressure range, making it particularly well suited to backing turbomolecular pumps.
The pump operates without vacuum oil or hydrocarbons in the pumped-gas path, making it an excellent choice for analytical instruments, mass spectrometry, electron microscopy, surface analysis, research vacuum systems and other applications where contamination from an oil-sealed forepump is undesirable.
With 1-phase 90–230 V, 50/60 Hz electrical compatibility, only 135 W of rated power, approximately 48 dB(A) operating noise and a compact footprint, the DIVAC 1.4 HV3 is extremely easy to integrate into laboratory and analytical systems.
For customers who need a small, quiet and clean backing pump for a turbomolecular system, the DIVAC 1.4 HV3 provides a strong combination of low ultimate pressure, low power consumption, compact size and reliable dry operation.
If you are pumping aggressive chemicals or solvent vapours, the DIVAC 1.4 HV3C should be considered instead because of its chemically resistant construction.
The DIVAC 1.4 HV3 is the pump to bring in when a high-vacuum system needs a compact, clean and reliable dry forepump that can maintain low foreline pressure without introducing vacuum oil into the system.
