The Leybold DRYVAC DV 500 is a high-capacity, water-cooled dry screw vacuum pump delivering approximately 460 m³/h (270 CFM) of clean, oil-free pumping performance. The 3-phase, 200–240 V, 50/60 Hz configuration is designed for demanding industrial applications requiring high pumping speed, reliable continuous operation and reduced risk of process contamination. With an 11 kW motor, DN 63 ISO-K inlet and exhaust connections, and an ultimate pressure below 0.01 mbar, the DV 500 is ideally suited for large PVD and thin-film coating systems, vacuum heat-treatment furnaces, industrial drying, freeze drying, load-lock systems, electron-beam welding and plasma-processing equipment. When combined with a Leybold RUVAC Roots booster, the DV 500 can provide substantially higher effective pumping speed and faster evacuation of large-volume vacuum chambers. Its dry screw technology, hermetically sealed design, purge capabilities and intelligent drive system make it a reliable alternative to conventional oil-sealed pumps in demanding production environments.
