Overview
The Leybold ECODRY 65 plus 120 V 1Ph is a high-performance dry vacuum pump designed for laboratory, analytical and UHV applications where clean vacuum, low noise and simple installation are important.
Delivering up to 55 m³/h of pumping speed with an ultimate pressure below 0.03 mbar, the ECODRY 65 provides substantially more pumping capacity than a typical small laboratory dry pump while remaining compact, quiet and easy to integrate. Its dry multistage Roots technology produces vacuum without lubricant contacting the pumped gas, making it an excellent alternative to conventional oil-sealed backing pumps where contamination and oil backstreaming are concerns.
The 161065V21 configuration operates from standard 100–120 V, 50/60 Hz single-phase power, making it particularly attractive for North American laboratories where installing dedicated 208/230 V or three-phase power is undesirable. The pump has a 1,200 W rated power requirement and a 15 A rating at 120 V.
With a DN40 ISO-KF inlet, DN16 ISO-KF exhaust, <52 dB(A) noise level and 43 kg weight, the ECODRY 65 is well suited to turbo pump backing, electron microscopy, mass spectrometry, XPS/AES/SIMS, surface analysis, research coating, vacuum drying and UHV research systems. Its high water-vapour capacity also makes it well suited to chambers experiencing significant desorption during pump-down.
For customers currently using an oil-sealed rotary-vane pump, the ECODRY 65 provides a clean upgrade path: more pumping capacity, no vacuum oil in the pumped-gas path, low operating noise and no routine vacuum-oil maintenance for the user.
The ECODRY 65 plus is the ideal choice when a laboratory needs serious dry pumping speed but wants to keep the installation as simple as plugging into a properly protected 120 V circuit.
