The Leybold LEYVAC LV 250 is a heavy-duty industrial dry-screw vacuum pump designed for large production systems where high pumping speed, clean vacuum and dependable continuous operation are essential.

Delivering up to 300 m³/h at 60 Hz and reaching an ultimate pressure of 1 × 10⁻² mbar, the LV 250 provides the pumping capacity required for large vacuum chambers, industrial furnaces, heat-treatment systems, coating equipment, degassing and other demanding production processes. Its dry screw compression keeps vacuum lubricant out of contact with the pumped process gas, eliminating the oil contamination and backstreaming associated with conventional oil-sealed pumps.

The 115250V30 configuration features a DN63 ISO-K inlet, DN40 ISO-KF exhaust, water/glycol cooling and three-phase 200–460 V operation. At 60 Hz it provides 300 m³/h of pumping speed with approximately 4.7 kW of power consumption at ultimate pressure.

The LV 250 is particularly well suited to vacuum heat treatment, industrial furnaces, PVD and coating, degassing, drying, casting and other high-throughput industrial vacuum applications. Its ability to handle substantial water-vapour loads and its compatibility with RUVAC Roots boosters make it an especially strong platform for systems where both pump-down speed and process throughput matter.

For customers currently relying on large oil-sealed rotary-vane pumps, the LV 250 provides a major step toward cleaner production vacuum while reducing the problems associated with vacuum oil contamination and routine oil changes in the vacuum chamber.
