The Leybold LEYVAC LV 80 is a heavy-duty industrial dry-screw vacuum pump designed for production applications where high pumping speed, clean vacuum and reliable continuous operation are essential.

Delivering up to 96 m³/h at 60 Hz with an ultimate pressure of 1 × 10⁻² mbar, the LV 80 provides the pumping capacity required for industrial vacuum chambers, furnaces, heat-treatment systems, coating equipment, drying and degassing applications. Its dry screw compression keeps vacuum lubricant out of the pumped process gas, eliminating the oil contamination and backstreaming concerns associated with conventional oil-sealed vacuum pumps.

The 115080V30 configuration features a DN63 ISO-K inlet, DN40 ISO-KF exhaust, water/glycol cooling and three-phase 200–460 V operation. The LV 80 is designed for continuous industrial service and can be integrated with RUVAC Roots boosters when higher pumping speed and faster pump-down are required.

The LV 80 is particularly well suited to vacuum heat treatment, industrial furnaces, PVD and coating, drying, degassing, casting and other production vacuum applications. Its gas-ballast capability also provides useful water-vapour handling for processes where condensable loads are present.

For customers currently using a large oil-sealed rotary-vane pump, the LV 80 provides a cleaner industrial alternative with dry compression, no vacuum oil in the pumped-gas path and the pumping capacity required for serious production vacuum systems.

The LEYVAC LV 80 is the ideal entry point into the LEYVAC industrial dry-screw platform when the customer needs substantially more than a compact process pump but doesn't need the capacity of an LV 140 or LV 250.
