The Leybold SCREWLINE SP 630, P/N 117018, is a high-capacity industrial dry-screw vacuum pump designed for demanding production processes where 630 m³/h of pumping speed, clean dry compression and hazardous-process capability are required.

Delivering 630 m³/h (371 CFM) at 60 Hz with an ultimate pressure in the 0.01–0.02 mbar class, the SP 630 provides the throughput required for large vacuum chambers, industrial furnaces, heat treatment, PVD and coating systems, drying, degassing and other high-gas-load applications.

The 117018 configuration is specifically differentiated from the standard SP 630 by its ATEX Category 3 inside configuration, purge-gas capability and 24 V gas-ballast control. This makes it particularly attractive for processes involving potentially hazardous, flammable or condensable gases where a standard industrial dry pump may not provide the required level of process protection.

The pump features DN100 ISO-K inlet and exhaust connections, a 15 kW motor and LVO 210 operating fluid, with Intlvac's Canadian listing specifying a water-cooled configuration. Its large 530 kg industrial package is designed for fixed production installations rather than laboratory applications.

The SP 630 can also be integrated with RUVAC Roots boosters when the customer needs substantially higher effective pumping speed and faster evacuation of large chambers. This makes it an excellent foundation for complete high-throughput vacuum systems.

For customers currently using large oil-sealed pumps, the SP 630 provides a major step toward cleaner production vacuum by keeping vacuum oil out of the pumped-gas path while delivering the pumping capacity needed for serious industrial production.
