Overview
The Leybold SCREWLINE SP 630 is a heavy-duty industrial dry-screw vacuum pump designed for applications where high pumping speed, deep vacuum and reliable continuous operation are critical.
Delivering approximately 630 m³/h (371 CFM) of pumping speed, the SP 630 provides the capacity required for large vacuum chambers, industrial furnaces, coating systems and other high-throughput applications. Its dry-compressing screw design keeps vacuum oil out of the pumped-gas path, eliminating the contamination and oil-backstreaming concerns associated with conventional oil-sealed rotary-vane and piston pumps.
The 117008 configuration is a 60 Hz, 3-phase, 210–460 V, 15 kW, air-cooled version with DN100 ISO-K inlet and exhaust connections and a manual gas ballast. The air-cooled design eliminates the need for cooling water, simplifying installation while making the pump particularly attractive for industrial facilities where water cooling is undesirable or unavailable.
The SP 630 is an excellent choice for vacuum heat treatment, furnaces, PVD and coating, industrial drying, degassing, large vacuum ovens, electron-beam processing and other demanding production applications. It can also be paired with RUVAC Roots boosters when substantially higher pumping speeds and faster pump-down are required.
For customers currently using a large oil-sealed pump, the SP 630 provides a compelling upgrade path: 630 m³/h of dry, clean vacuum without vacuum oil entering the process, while reducing oil changes, oil disposal and the risk of oil contamination.
The SCREWLINE SP 630 is the pump to look at when you tell yourself, "We have a big system and we need to move a lot of gas."
