The Leybold SCROLLVAC 18 plus, 3-ph is a compact, clean and reliable dry-scroll vacuum pump designed for laboratory, analytical and light industrial applications where oil-free vacuum is essential.

Delivering approximately 20 m³/h of pumping speed with an ultimate pressure of 3 mbar, the SCROLLVAC 18 plus provides clean roughing and backing vacuum without lubricant coming into contact with the pumped gases. Its three-phase design supports 200–230 V and 380–415 V at 50 Hz and 200–230 V or 460 V at 60 Hz, making it easy to integrate into a wide range of laboratory and industrial electrical systems.

The pump is air cooled, uses convenient DN25 ISO-KF inlet and exhaust connections and operates at approximately 55 dB(A), making it considerably quieter and more compact than many conventional industrial vacuum pumps. At approximately 25 kg, it is easy to install, service and integrate into existing systems.

The SCROLLVAC 18 plus is ideally suited to turbo pump backing, electron microscopy, mass spectrometry, surface analysis, XPS/AES/SIMS, research coating systems, vacuum drying and general laboratory vacuum applications.

For customers currently using an oil-sealed rotary-vane pump, the SCROLLVAC 18 plus offers a clean dry alternative with no vacuum oil contacting the pumped gas, helping eliminate oil backstreaming and the routine oil changes associated with conventional pumps.
