Overview
The Leybold SCROLLVAC® 7 plus 1Ph is a compact dry-scroll vacuum pump designed for laboratory, analytical, OEM and light-industrial applications where clean, reliable vacuum is required without lubricant contacting the pumped gases.
Delivering approximately 6.1 m³/h (3.6 CFM) of pumping speed with an ultimate pressure of 2 mbar, the SCROLLVAC 7 plus provides substantially more pumping capacity than small diaphragm pumps while maintaining the clean, quiet and compact characteristics of dry-scroll technology.
The standard V10 configuration operates from 1-phase 100–127 / 200–240 V, 50/60 Hz, making it extremely easy to install in laboratories, universities, analytical facilities and OEM equipment. With a 260 W rated power, forced-air cooling, DN25 ISO-KF connections, approximately 55 dB(A) operating noise and a 26 kg package, the pump is easy to integrate without requiring three-phase power.
The standard version includes gas ballast, making it suitable for general-purpose applications where condensable vapours may be present. For more specialized requirements, the SCROLLVAC 7 is also available as an H version with the gas ballast blanked or a C version with corrosion-resistant construction.
Typical applications include small turbomolecular-pump backing systems, analytical instrumentation, mass spectrometry, electron microscopy, surface analysis, XPS/AES/SIMS, research coating, vacuum drying, small vacuum chambers and clean OEM vacuum systems.
For customers currently using a small oil-sealed rotary-vane pump, the SCROLLVAC 7 plus provides a clean dry alternative that keeps lubricant out of the pumped-gas path, reducing oil-backstreaming concerns and eliminating routine vacuum-oil changes.
The SCROLLVAC 7 plus 1Ph is the ideal choice when you need approximately 6 m³/h of clean, dry vacuum from a compact, quiet pump that can operate from standard single-phase 120 or 240 V power.
