Overview
The Leybold TRIVAC® D 2,5 E is a compact, two-stage oil-sealed rotary-vane vacuum pump designed for applications requiring deep, reliable vacuum from a small and quiet package.
Delivering approximately 2.7 m³/h at 50 Hz and 3.3 m³/h at 60 Hz, the TRIVAC D 2,5 E achieves an ultimate total pressure of approximately 2 × 10⁻³ mbar, making it an excellent choice for fine-vacuum applications and as a backing pump for high-vacuum systems.
The E-series combines the proven TRIVAC rotary-vane design with a compact integrated motor, low vibration, low thermal losses and approximately 47 dB(A) operating noise. Its DN16 KF inlet and exhaust connections and compact footprint make it easy to integrate into laboratory and OEM vacuum systems.
A multi-stage gas-ballast system provides excellent handling of water vapour, with up to 30 mbar water-vapour tolerance depending on gas-ballast setting. The pump also incorporates anti-suckback protection to help prevent inadvertent venting of the vacuum system and oil backstreaming when the pump is stopped.
Typical applications include turbomolecular-pump backing, mass spectrometry, X-ray spectroscopy, electron-beam microscopy, leak detection, freeze drying, vacuum drying and chemical/research laboratory vacuum systems.
For customers who need substantially deeper vacuum than a small dry diaphragm or dry-scroll pump can provide, the TRIVAC D 2,5 E delivers an excellent combination of 2.7–3.3 m³/h pumping speed, 2 × 10⁻³ mbar ultimate pressure, low noise and compact size.
The TRIVAC D 2,5 E is the pump to bring in when you need serious 10⁻³ mbar-class vacuum from a compact, proven oil-sealed pump.
