The Leybold DIVAC® 0.8 LT is an ultra-compact, dry diaphragm vacuum pump specifically designed for clean turbomolecular-pump backing applications where maintaining a very low foreline pressure is more important than high pumping speed.

Delivering approximately 0.77 m³/h (0.45 CFM) of pumping speed with an ultimate pressure of ≤0.5 mbar, the DIVAC 0.8 LT provides exceptionally low forevacuum performance from a compact 7.5 kg package. Its four-stage diaphragm configuration is optimized for low ultimate pressure while keeping the pump completely dry and free of vacuum oil in the pumped-gas path.

The LT version is the low-pressure alternative to the standard DIVAC 0.8 T. Both provide approximately 0.77 m³/h of pumping speed, but the LT reduces ultimate pressure from approximately 3 mbar to 0.5 mbar, making it the better choice when the turbomolecular pump requires a lower foreline pressure.

With 230 V single-phase, 50 Hz operation, an 80 W motor, DN16 ISO-KF inlet, integrated exhaust silencer and approximately 53 dB(A) noise, the DIVAC 0.8 LT is extremely easy to integrate into small laboratory and analytical vacuum systems.

Typical applications include turbomolecular-pump backing, mass spectrometry, analytical instruments, research vacuum systems and other clean high-vacuum applications where oil backstreaming and hydrocarbon contamination are unacceptable.

For customers who need a very small, quiet and completely dry forepump but require lower foreline pressure than a conventional small diaphragm pump can provide, the DIVAC 0.8 LT is an excellent solution.
